Contact me to be notified about the next available Melbourne workshop.
This will be a relaxed time of creativity and demonstration mixed with exercises and handy tips from Richard. We will be looking at how to construct a successful painting, how to loosen up your mark making and how to engage the viewer with colour. All mediums welcome.
To prepare for this workshop you may like to:
- Observe the local landscape noting form and light
- Collect photographs of your area or favourite places to use as painting reference
- Collect samples of the colours of the trees and earth to inform your palette
- Start the story telling process by documenting memories and tales
- Decide on your preferred medium
