I hadn’t planned to paint this scene.
The cushions were too clean, the light too direct.
But then a breeze came through — shifting the shadows, lifting the edge of the throw, and softening everything.

Suddenly it wasn’t just a view. It was a rhythm.
So I mixed up a batch of greens I’d never used before, and let the brush do the rest.
