Vienna at night always feels slightly theatrical to me.
Even walking past the Volkstheater feels like you’d accidentally wandered into the beginning of a film.
Volkstheater sounds incredibly grand until you realise it literally translates to “People’s Theatre,” which somehow makes me like it even more.
Very democratic.
