You know it’s Paris when a corner flower shop can feel like the centre of the universe. I passed this little scene one chilly evening — the warmth from the window hit me like a memory. Had to paint it.

There’s something about that pause… that quiet moment of choosing beauty, while the rest of the world rushes by. He stood there like someone waiting for good news… or maybe just trying to remember which plant he was supposed to buy.
