Gran's Greenhouse

I remember the day Dad proudly brought Gran a brand-new Westinghouse washing machine. She took one look at it and decided she didn’t need it—sticking with her old tub and ringer in the garden shed instead. What she did need, however, was more room for her ever-expanding pot plant collection. And so, from that day on, the fancy new washing machine found its true purpose… as a very expensive plant stand.
