This painting is all about the connection between the interior and the view outside. I wanted to capture that feeling of sitting in a cozy room, surrounded by favourite objects, with the water and light from Sydney Harbour pouring in. I like to paint spaces that feel lived-in, where the guitar, the books, and the harbour beyond all seem to tell their own quiet stories.
