Light Thinning Over Middle Harbour

Ever notice how the harbour looks completely different depending on which side of the glass you’re on? 

Outside, it’s breeze and salt and movement. Inside, it becomes composition. Shape. Tone. A quiet rectangle of blue.

I think I paint Sydney less as a location and more as a mood.
