It’s great to be wandering through the Vatican Gardens to find the light hitting St Peter’s dome just right. ☀️
Hard to believe it took four decades and the hands of many artists to complete what Michelangelo began. That’s 43 years of scaffolding, arguing, and probably a lot of long coffee breaks.

I didn’t go in. I just stood there, watching the shadows shift and wondering how many artists before me had done exactly the same.
