I’m a real stickybeak when I go walking — I can’t help peering through half-open doors and into secret spaces.

This little workshop was tucked down a winding Roman alley, where the walls shift colour with the light and everything feels just a bit paused. The door was ajar, the light was perfect, and not a soul in sight. Could’ve been a mechanic’s, an artist’s, or a retired philosopher’s garage. Rome’s full of places like that — quietly mid-thought.
